Other titles: Let the Wine / Tomb of the Sea OST (沙海)
Picture above from Liu Yu Ning’s weibo @

Verse 1:
xiǎo jiǔ hú yī zhuàng, zhān nǐ yī zhàng guāng
A knock to the small wine pot douses you in ten feet of light
fǎn zhèng jīn tiān chě le huǎng, tóu tòng sǎng zi yǎng
Since I’ve already told a lie today, headache, itchy throat
tōu xián yī tiān dǎ gè dǔn, yě bù huì zěn me yàng
It’ll be fine even if I take a break and nap
shéi lái zhī wǎng, jiù yóu shéi fù zé shōu chǎng
Let whoever comes to weave the net be responsible for wrapping things up

Pre-Chorus 1:
quán ná qīng chūn zhì hǎi qù, zhǐ néng tīng gè xiǎng
They all threw their youth into the sea, only to hear an echo
shén me yīng a xióng a, huī tóu tǔ liǎn jǐ bèi liáng
What hero? Covered in dirt, a chill goes down my back
fèi lǐ hū chū shā yī liǎng, jiǔ qì sān fēn, dì shàng yī tǎng
Breathing out a lungful of sand, smelling somewhat of alcohol, I lie down on the ground

Chorus 1:
wǒ běn jié ào shào nián chén, bù xìn guǐ shén bù xìn rén
I’m a cruel and proud young subject who doesn’t believe in ghosts and gods, and doesn’t trust humans
zhàn jìn rén jiān hù ēn hòu, quán shù guī huán liú luò shēn
After I’ve taken all the kindness in the world, I’ll return it all to the destitute people
cǐ chù bié, bǐ chù jiàn
Parting at this place, Meeting elsewhere
sī hǒu bó huí zhè kǒu tián
I yell my rejection to these honeyed words
qí shí hái xiǎng zài jiàn yī miàn
Actually, I still want to see you once more

Verse 2:
yī fù hǎo pí xiàng, zhàng zhe shào qīng kuáng
Acting extremely frivolously just because I have good looks and I’m young
jiān xīn lā chě nán běi qù, tǎng guò hé yǔ jiāng
I’ve travelled long distances with great difficulty, crossing streams and rivers
mǎn shēn wán xìng xián mìng cháng, yě bù duō tǐ liàng
Acting mischievously, as if this life is too long, not being more understanding
fǎn shǒu yī huī, gōu yī zhāng shā hǎi bēn máng
With a wave of my hand, the sea of sand rushes forth

Pre-Chorus 2:
nǎ lái nián shào duō gǎn shāng, yī xīn xiàng nán qiáng
What do you mean, the youths are more sentimental? They’re heading for the south wall with no reservations
bié lài zhe bié zhǐ wàng, méi rén bēi nǐ huí wū fáng
Don’t hang around, don’t hope for anything, nobody’s going to piggy back you to your room
tiān rán zhēn qiè jǐ fēn xiàng, píng tiān láo luàn, cuō tuó shàn liáng
How many are truly sincere, they’re only adding to the unrest, a waste of people’s kindness

Chorus 2:
shào nián xīn xìng suì suì zhǎng, hé bì xū zhì jīng hé huāng
The youth’s temperament will grow as they age, there’s no need to waste time being surprised or to panic
jiē shì wǒ céng tú jìng lù, bù guò liǎng bìn xuě yǔ shuāng
These are all the roads I’ve taken, with only snow white temples to show for it
cǐ shí nián, bǐ shí nián
For these ten years, for another ten years
áo guò mìng shù yǐ lì jié
I’ve already exhausted all my strength holding out against fate
qí shí zhǐ xiǎng zài jiàn yī miàn
Actually, I just want to see you once more

Bridge:
wēn níng, pǐ lì, duō qíng, bó yì,
Peace, Violence, Passion, Heartlessness
bù guò jīn rì yī zhāng pí.
Is just a mask for today
chēn nù, tòng qì, bēi wù, kuáng xǐ,
Anger, Sorrow, Grief, Joy
bù guò qiān miàn qiān rén yǔ.
Are just a thousand faces and a thousand human expressions

(Repeat Chorus 1)
(Repeat Chorus 2)

qí shí zhǐ xiǎng zài jiàn yī miàn
Actually, I just want to see you once more
