Verse 1:
qiū fēng luò rì rù cháng hé jiāng nán yān yǔ xíng zhōu
As the autumn wind blows and the setting sun enters the long river, a boat sails along Jiangnan[1] in the misty rain
luàn shí chuān kōng juǎn qǐ duō shǎo de fēng huǒ
Stones pierce the sky, stirring up the flames of war
wàn lǐ shān hé dōu tà guò tiān xià yòu rù shéi shǒu
I’ve crossed thousands of miles of land, who will end up ruling the world
fēn fēn hé hé bù guò jǐ shí zǎi chūn qiū
Separations and mergers happen over dozens of years

Verse 2:
wǒ zài shí miàn mái fú sì miàn chǔ gē de shí hòu
As I’m ambushed from ten sides and besieged from all sides
bǎ jiǔ yǔ cāng tiān duì zhuó
I raise my wine cup and have a drink with the heavens
zòng rán yī qù bù huí cǐ zhàn yòu rú hé
Even if I’m gone forever, who cares about this battle
shéi jiàn wàn jiàn qí fā xīng huǒ màn tiān yè rú zhòu
Who saw ten thousand flying arrows being released at the same time, fiery stars filling the whole sky, the night becoming bright as day
dāo guāng jiàn yǐng jiāo cuò
The crisscrossing glints and flashes of daggers and swords
ér wǒ qiāng chū rú lóng qián kūn hàn dòng
So I draw out my spear like a dragon, Heaven and Earth shakes
yī xiào pò cāng qióng
With a cry, I split open the vaults of heaven

Chorus 1:
cháng qiāng cì pò yún xiá fàng xià yī shēng qiān guà
Pierce the rosy clouds with a long spear, let go of a lifetime’s worries
wàng zhe hán yuè rú yá
Gazing at the wintry crescent moon
gū shēn zòng mǎ shēng sǐ wú huà
All alone, I give free reign to the horse, not caring about whether I’ll live or die
fēng juǎn cán qí liè jiǎ xuè rǎn wàn lǐ huáng shā
The wind stirs up the remnants of the calvary and crushed armour, blood dyes thousands of miles of yellow sands
chéng bài xiào tán zhī jiān yǔ qīng shǐ liú xià
Chatting about success or failure as we leave our mark in the annals of history

(Repeat Verse 2)
(Repeat Chorus 1)

Chorus 2:

cháng qiāng cì pò yún xiá fàng xià yī shēng qiān guà
Pierce the rosy clouds with a long spear, let go of a lifetime’s worries
wàng zhe hán yuè rú yá
Gazing at the wintry crescent moon

fēng juǎn cán qí liè jiǎ xuè rǎn wàn lǐ huáng shā

Lightheartedly talking about who will remain
